This course is for students with basic computer skills and knowledge.

Summary
Computer literacy is a fundamental skill in today's digital world, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the vast and ever-evolving digital landscape in daily life and in the workplace. Understanding how to operate computers, use software applications, and navigate the internet empowers individuals to access information, resources, and opportunities. This three-week course will teach Napa County farmworkers new computer skills such as managing an inbox and navigating email, following links and using the internet, making calendar appointments, and using Zoom and Google Drive.
Computers will be provided for each student for the duration of the course.
Impact
Strong computer skills can help one both personally and professionally. As the use of technology increases in high-quality grape growing, it becomes more important for Napa County farmworkers to have strong digital literacy skills for opportunities for advancement and career growth. Post-course surveys showed that 75% of students indicated they would use these skills to do their jobs better and gain more responsibility at work.
