Levels
Beginner and Intermediate: The course is open to both beginner and intermediate students, don’t worry if you don’t know - there will be a test on the first day to ensure correct class placement!
Beginner: This course is for students with little or no exposure to English.
Intermediate: The course is for students with basic English skills ready to move to the next level.
Please note, all programs are in Spanish unless otherwise specified.
Summary
Developing language and communication skills provides opportunities for career advancement and community integration, supporting professional and personal growth. This intensive two-week course is tailored specifically for Napa County farmworkers, focusing on improving English and workplace communication skills. Students strengthen their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through real-life workplace vocabulary.
Students are encouraged to continue building their learning journey by enrolling in the 11-week course starting in January.
